Press announcement published in The Tennessean:
Sheryl Crow’s Nashville clothing sale will also help tornado relief
Following the devastating tornadoes that ripped through Nashville and Middle Tennessee, Sheryl Crow says her charity clothing sale and concert in Nashville’s 12 South Neighbourhood will now also benefit cleanup efforts around the city.
As previously announced, the rock/pop mainstay and longtime local resident is putting her old clothes, shoes, purses and more up for sale in Nashville’s 12 South neighbourhood on March 6 and 7.
From the outset, proceeds were set to benefit South Nashville Teen. On Thursday, Crow said they would now split the funds, and are also accepting donations of cleaning supplies for North Nashville: including paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, cleaning gloves, work gloves, and Clorox wipes.
The sale takes place at 21st Century Bookstore, 2809 12th Ave. S. Hours are 3-6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Crow will also play an acoustic set at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7.
