In short, yes. We have several customers based in Russia, but we can’t just pop a stamp on your order!
In recent years’ Russian authorities have increasingly tightened the regulations around shipping to their country. In 2016 a temporary ban on private individuals importing non-document shipments to other private individuals was in effect, with no definite end date given. In less formal terms, this means that if you want to buy a signed record from us and you are based in St Petersburg, you need to have it sent to a business where you can collect it.
If you can’t collect your order, businesses are free to ship to other businesses, or private individuals, in Russia, although the latter may involve extra paperwork. For businesses sending to private individuals, no tax or duties will be applied to shipments up to a value of EUR €1,000, or totaling 31kg per calendar month, anything above this will have duties and taxes applied. For all other shipments there is no import duty for packages below EUR €200 in value.
