This historical document measures 8.5×11 inches and is in vintage condition which hole punches to the left of the document, creasing and small rip to the right hand side.
It is dated May 21 1967 and timed at 12:05 pm. It confirms Mickey Rooney’s birth date as 23 September 1920 making him 46 at the time. It details the physicians findings on Mickey Rooney’s head, eyes, ears, nose, throat, skin and glands, together with the physicians comments on Mr Rooney’s heart, lungs, gastro-intestinal tract, genitals and other tests – all normal.
This historical document was required for motion picture producers and cast insurance. Given the date, it is likely this certificate was required before Mickey Rooney commenced work on the film Skidoo, an American comedy film directed by Otto Preminger, starring Jackie Gleason and Carol Channing, written by Doran William Cannon and released by Paramount Pictures on December 19, 1968.
