Marty Wilde is an English singer and songwriter who was born on April 15, 1939 in Blackheath, England, UK. He was one of the first British pop stars to emulate American rock and roll in the 1950s, with hits such as “Endless Sleep” and “Bad Boy”. He also wrote songs for other artists, including his daughter Kim Wilde, who became a pop star in the 1980s. He is still active as a performer and songwriter.
