Matt Monro was an English singer who was born as Terence Edward Parsons in 1930. He had a 30-year career in which he performed internationally and recorded several hit songs and film themes. He was known as “The Man with the Golden Voice” and was praised by George Martin and Frank Sinatra. He died in 1985 from liver cancer.
