Bill E Burk worked for the Memphis Press-Scimitar until it closed in 1983 and wrote roughly 400 stories and columns about Elvis Presley. He also published 13 books about the singer and the quarterly Elvis World magazine. He threatened to end Elvis’ sex image by publishing the draft photos back in the 1950’s. He passed away on April 24th 2008.
