Bert Weedon (10 May 1920 – 20 April 2012) was an influential English guitarist who was popular in the 1950s and 1960s. He wrote the best-selling tutorial guide Play in a Day, which inspired many famous musicians, such as Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney and Brian May. He also recorded several solo hits, such as Guitar Boogie Shuffle and Apache, and played as a session musician for many British and American singers.
