Bryan Ferry Sales Presentation
Framed sales award to recognise sales in the UK of more than 100,000 copies of the Virgin Album As Time Goes By 1999.
Presented to Geoff Mullin, BBC Radio 2 producer and music industry veteran.
This rare 16″ x 16″ framed presentation displays a copy of the CD As Time Goes By and plaque.
As Time Goes By is the tenth studio album by English singer Bryan Ferry, first released in Japan on 14 October 1999 and then in the UK on 25 October by Virgin Records. The album consists of cover versions of popular songs and jazz standards. It was co-produced by Ferry with Rhett Davies, who had worked with Ferry since his days with Roxy Music.
The opening title track summons images of Bogie and Ingrid and is one of the finest moments in the collection. The album focuses on music largely from the 1930s and 40s and conjures that era’s aura of fine cigars, satin gowns and gentlemanly romance.
Professionally framed by Famous Aluminium Framing, Buckinghamshire, this impressive gold aluminium presentation weighs 1.8kg and will require bespoke packaging. This will increase dispatch times by 7-10 working days.
