Delivery aims for Royal Mail International Tracked are typically 3–5 working days to Europe and 5–7 working days to many destinations worldwide, although this can vary depending on local postal performance and customs procedures.
Delivery Times & Possible Delays
We aim to dispatch all physical products within two working days. Once dispatched, delivery times depend on the service used, local postal systems, and customs clearance.
-
UK: Tracked 24 and Special Delivery are usually next working day, depending on postcode and service.
-
Europe: International Tracked is generally 3–5 working days.
-
Rest of World: International Tracked is generally 5–7 working days to many major destinations.
Some countries currently experience slower processing in their local postal networks and customs systems, including the USA, Italy, Republic of Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, and Greece. These delays are outside our control, but tracking will continue to update as your parcel moves through the system.
US Customs Changes
As of late August 2025, the United States has suspended the previous de minimis duty-free treatment for most commercial shipments. This means many parcels that were previously duty-free may now be subject to customs entries and duties, regardless of value. US deliveries are currently averaging 8–14 business days after dispatch due to additional customs formalities and inspections.
Upgrading your shipping and insurance protects the value of your collectible, but it cannot bypass or speed up US customs processing.
Taxes, Duties & Local Fees
All orders are shipped from the UK. Any import VAT, customs duties, low-value handling fees, brokerage, clearance, logistics, or fuel surcharges are set by your local authorities and delivery partners, not by Presley Collectibles.
In addition to standard VAT and import duty, some countries and carriers apply extra charges that are completely outside our control and may change without notice. These fees can apply even to lower-value orders and are not included in our prices or UK shipping charges.
Examples include:
-
United Kingdom and Ireland: Royal Mail Group increased its Fuel and Energy Surcharge from 11% to 16% from 3 May 2026, while Parcelforce Worldwide services increased from 8% to 13%.
-
United States: Postal operators and couriers may apply temporary fuel or emergency surcharges in addition to any import taxes.
-
Italy: A flat low-value import handling charge of around €2 per shipment up to €150 may apply, along with postal clearance or advancement fees.
-
Netherlands: A flat handling fee of around €2 per declaration line up to €150 may be charged, plus postal or courier clearance fees.
-
Romania: A separate logistics fee of roughly €5 may be added on low-value imports below €150, alongside any customs and VAT.
-
Other EU countries: Many national postal services and couriers charge presentation-to-customs, clearance, or disbursement fees whenever they advance VAT or duty on your behalf.
-
Worldwide: Local postal services and couriers in countries such as Canada, Australia, and New Zealand may apply brokerage, customs-clearance, storage, or fuel surcharges, even where duty is low or zero.
Because these rules and amounts can change frequently and may differ by service, by placing an order you accept responsibility for checking your country’s current import rules and for paying all applicable taxes, duties, low-value fees, handling charges, and surcharges on arrival.
Many dealers aren’t up front about these protentional additional fees – Presley Collectibles isn’t like that! We want you to make an informed decision.
The Fine Print
We do not profit from postage: we simply charge what the carrier and any selected insurance upgrade costs.
All parcels include at least the standard level of insurance for the chosen service, and we will support you with documentation in the event of a carrier insurance claim.
Our goal is to get your collectible to you quickly, safely, and transparently, with shipping that scales sensibly from under £100 items to multi-thousand-pound investments.
