Withdrawal of planned strike dates

The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has announced it is withdrawing planned national strike action on the 12 and 14 November 2022.

New national strike action dates announced by the CWU but have not been formally notified.

The CWU announced they will be notifying Royal Mail they plan to call on their members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters to take national strike action on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 November and for Wednesday 30 November and Thursday 1 December 2022. 

UK Postal Strikes: Whilst Presley Collectibles will always continue to process your order in a timely manner, normally the same day, the Communication Workers Union (CWU) in the UK has called on its members to strike. The strike, which includes deliveries in the run up to Christmas, is being undertaken by those who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters. The national strike action will take place on the following dates:

  • 30 September 2022
  • 01 October 2022
  • 13 October 2022
  • 20 October 2022
  • 25 October 2022
  • 28 November 2022

Further dates have also been announced by the CWU for functional strike action which impacts parts of their operation on the following:

Processing, Distribution, International, Collections, Admin:

  • 03 November 2022
  • 09 November 2022
  • 15 November 2022
  • 24 November 2022
  • 01 December 2022


Delivery:

  • 04 November 2022
  • 10 November 2022
  • 16 November 2022
