The soundtrack to the film The Sound of Music, was released as an album in the United Kingdom in 1965. It reached number one in June of that year, and spent a total of 70 weeks at the top over several runs.It was the biggest-selling album in the UK during 1965, 1966 and 1968, and the second biggest-selling of the entire decade.  Julie Andrews has hand signed this copy of the Original Soundtrack LP to the film “The Sound Of Music” on the front cover in blue ink.
