Vikki Gavin, Griff Jameson, Gafyn Jameson and Lachlan Golder (Fred’s House) have hand signed in blue biro the inside CD insert to their 2012 EP “Looking Glass.” Signed at The Acoustic Festival Of Britain in Uttoexter, UK, 27/05/12. Fred’s House is one of the bands PRESLEY | COLLECTIBLES is promoting this year.
Fred’s House are an acoustic based folk-rock-pop band based in Cambridge UK with influences ranging from the likes of Simon and Garfunkel, Fairport Convention, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young to The Swell Season, Civil Wars and The Magic Numbers. The quartet have received airplay for T.V. for Sleepers and Someone Else’s Road on Tom Robinson’s Show BBC 6 Music as well as recently having live sessions with Sue Marchant BBC Eastern Counties, and BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire with Kerry Devine, played on BBC Radio Wales on Adam Walton’s show, Radio Caroline and local radio stations. Fred’s House played lots of summer festivals in 2011 including the BBC Introducing Stage at Cambridge Rock Festival, The Bakewell Acoustic Music Festival and Strawberry Fair and they have supported some great indie artists including The Wonderstuff, Sea of Bees, Leah Mason, Johnny Foreigner, Lucy Rose and Treetop Flyers. For 2012 they are already confirmed for Cambridge Folk Festival, The Acoustic Festival of Britain, Secret Garden Party and Bestival playing alongside the likes of Joan Armatrading, KT Tunstall, and Stevie Wonder.
