Michael Emile Telford Miller (16th October 1937 Castries, Saint Lucia, West Indies. Died: 11th April 2016). British musician and singer, who was popular in the United Kingdom in the late 1950s and early 1960s as the leader of Emile Ford & The Checkmates. He was the first black British male singer to score a No. 1 hit in the UK charts. He was the co Founder of Web-Fi Sound.
